I couldn’t wait to travel the world
As a child, I packed a suitcase and after my parents went to bed, climbed into my father’s recliner, and pretended I was on an airplane to some distant country. My wanderlust was on hold until I completed my doctoral degree in physiology. I parlayed my scientific training into an international career and worked and lived abroad.
Traveling for work versus pleasure were very different. I added side excursions on business trips, but it could only be for a few days.
A few years ago, I reprioritized my life. I moved to Miami and transitioned to consulting to healthcare companies and agencies. Now my priority is traveling, planning adventures, and writing about off the beaten path locations. Join me as I explore new places and cultures.
